The green ball is obviously bouncing, but what’s the red ball doing? Sure, it’s moving up and down like the green ball. It’s taking the same time as the green ball to go down and come back up. Yet, the red ball feels robotic, while the green ball feels like it’s actually bouncing. Why do we feel this difference?
