I recently stumbled across this interesting article all about why NOT to build a UX portfolio, and while I agree with many, if not most, of the points that the author makes (which are primarily to do with the fact that UX is not just about finished products, but about the process that you take to get there), I don’t agree that not creating a portfolio is the answer. I think it’s just about building the right kind of UX portfolio, and being smart about it.
