15 parallax web designs that don’t suck
With high-speed Internet and the recent advances in HTML and CSS technologies, the parallax scrolling effect has become one of the most popular web design techniques. So, what is a parallax web design technique? In simple terms, it is harmonic motion of site layers at different paces when the page is scrolled down. As a result of these movements, a foreground pops out a little, which creates a certain sense of depth in the layout of a platform. With a lot of site elements moving, the whole page looks almost like an animation. Because I’ve seen tons of bad practices with parallax effect, decided to compile a list of the good examples out there. Enjoy!
