Google’s new
Material Design visual language is awesome and we are glad to see it being adopted by graphic designers and developers. Every day brings Material-filled updates for existing Android apps and
beautiful interface concepts created by artists from all around the world. One such concept is the redesign of Twitter by Rico Monteiro, who designed it to be both intuitive and responsive.
Monteiro’s vision of Twitter borrows many
UI elements from Android apps and Google’s design guidelines and adds a few of its own. There is large imaginery, gorgeous and crisp typography, tabbed layout, and inviting colour scheme that uses Twitter’s brand palette.
