As user-conscious designers and developers, we strive to optimize the sites we build to be viewed on a number of different screen sizes, across devices with varying pixel ratios, sometimes even without specifying widths or breakpoints. Designing for and building the web has more or less become grounded in creating an experience that is both intentional in its design and widly accessible.
