....literally. Over the past week the USPTO granted a series of user interface design patents where I was one of the co-inventors. The patents related to the design work I led at Bresslergroup for the Spiro PD personal spirometer. This is a home medical device that integrates a touch screen-based UI for measuring and tracking lung health. As part of the project, the design team created demonstration screens (pictured above) to communicate proper use of the spirometer, and I served as the model for these illustrations. So I guess you could say my likeness is now patented.
